However, very often the published processing times do not correspond with the actual processing times experienced by law firms and clients. Because the length of time a case takes to be processed if filed regular processing depends on time the case is filed, type of case filed, government backlog, and more.
Whether you choose to file regular processing or premium processing, it’s important to be strategic with your time and your petition. Do you want your approval to come in after your OPT expires?
